As part of the Global Space Week 2024 events, the College of Engineering at King Abdulaziz University organized a distinguished event on Monday and Tuesday, October 7-8, 2024, under the theme "The Race to Space." The Administrative and Financial Training Center participated as a technical supporter of the events and was honored with a commemorative plaque in recognition of its technical sponsorship.
The program included a documentary film about space technology, a scientific dialogue with astronaut Dr. Maryam Fardous, and several scientific lectures covering advanced topics such as space technology development, space medicine, and emergency medicine management in space.
Additionally, the center provided numerous professional consultations for students regarding the importance of specialized professional certificates and their significant role in the Saudi job market, along with support from the Human Resources Development Fund "HRDF" for these certificates.
The Global Space Week highlights the importance of space in our lives and its vital role in advancing science and technology, while also showcasing future ambitions in this crucial field.
