Introduction

The Performance Management course is essential for enhancing participants' capabilities in designing and implementing effective institutional performance management systems. The course aims to provide the knowledge and tools needed to assess performance, analyze process effectiveness, and develop strategies for improving institutional performance. Emphasis is placed on understanding how to align performance at various organizational levels to achieve the institution's goals in an integrated and effective manner.

 

Program Objectives:

  • Participants will understand the concept of performance management, its goals, and the reasons for needing an effective institutional performance management system.
  • Participants will learn how to design and implement an efficient performance management system, including goal setting and defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    • Organizational planning levels and the differences between goals and objectives.
    • Creating individual performance plans with goals and KPIs.

  3. Implementing and Supporting Performance

    • Techniques for implementing and monitoring performance.
    • Roles of employees, managers, and human resources in implementation.
    • Communication plan for explaining performance management plans.
    • Appeal process for re-evaluation and training on rater errors.

  4. Performance Guidance and Improvement

    • Techniques for guiding performance and effective guidance behaviors.
    • Different guidance methods and handling psychological barriers.
    • Documenting performance and addressing critical discussions in performance evaluation.

  5. Performance Improvement and Development

    • Performance review processes and evaluation meetings.
